Cakey, Cakey! - Macaroons

Mr Right has a fondness for all things macaroon so I made him a batch of mini ones a while back drizzled with a little dark chocolate and the obligatory rice paper base.


Whilst I was at it with the egg whites I made a pavlova for pudding
But what to do with all the yolks???

  1. My, my you have been productive - I'm tempted to say shut up! but that would be rude. I usually have egg whites left when I've made pastry for mince pies, so I guess you can use the yolks for some sort of sweet pastry? I freeze the egg whites until I need them, guess you could freeze yolks?
